Four North Utah County Cities Agree to Library CO-OP
The cities of Eagle Mountain, Lehi, American Fork, and
Pleasant Grove approved a reciprocal borrowing agreement between their libraries at city council meetings on January 22.
This cooperative agreement allows patrons holding library cards at any of the four participating libraries to borrow materials from any other participating library. Each individual library will still
operate as it does currently with respect to policies, budget, administration, and non-resident card fees.

New City Recorder Hired
Fionnuala Kofoed begain working as the city recorder on December 12. Kofoed has worked for the city before as a deputy city recorder and is pleased to be returning to the City of Eagle Mountain where she has lived since 1999.

This event will benefit Paula Olsen, an Eagle Mountain resident who has thyroid cancer. Organizers are looking for corporate sponsors or anyone who would like to donate goods, services, or money.

City Administrator John Hendrickson announced at last night’s city council meeting that Chris Trusty has been appointed the new public works director for Eagle Mountain City, effective immediately. He will also retain the city engineer title.
